Grant Munyon advises on complex commercial, intellectual property and technology transactions in a variety of industry sectors, including sports, entertainment, media, software/IT, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and health care, financial services, automotive, energy and telecommunications. Grant takes a practical, business-oriented approach to transactions and is skilled at aligning the negotiation strategy with his client’s objectives and offering innovative solutions in order to efficiently obtain the right result. 

Grant negotiates a wide array of contracts, including intellectual property and data licenses and commercialization, services, naming rights, sponsorship, branding, joint venture, stock purchase, merger, financing, manufacturing, development, distribution, outsourcing, employee, contractor, and other commercial agreements. His clients range from start-ups to Fortune 10 companies. In addition, he has broad experience handling general commercial issues and is actively involved in Hogan Lovells' Sports group, which has been named Law 360 “Sports and Betting Group of the Year” for three of the last four years.

Grant is passionate about teaching and mentorship. He taught “Contracts Drafting” at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and has volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters in numerous capacities, including as an Associate Board member. Grant also contributes to Hogan Lovells’ pro bono practice, and has advised numerous arts and education nonprofits regarding intellectual property and other commercial matters. Grant is an avid fan of the arts, Ultimate Frisbee, the Boise State Broncos and fast cars.
