Viktoriya Tomova is part of the product liability, product safety, and product compliance practice. Her focus lies in the automotive, electronics, consumer goods, energy, and food industries. She is particularly experienced in product launches, as well the coordination of global product safety measures.
Viktoriya advises companies on the launch of their innovative products with a particular focus on the certification, labeling and packaging requirements, information obligations, as well as the creation of user and safety guides before market placement.
Furthermore, Viktoriya has handled a wide range of product crises. She provides risk assessments, handles authority notifications, and drafts customer and media communication. She has assisted clients with products-related matters in over 30 jurisdictions.
Viktoriya also helps clients developing and implementing preventive compliance strategies and improving internal processes to increase product safety and quality. In addition, Viktoriya's practice includes supporting companies regarding settlement negotiations with claimants.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells Viktoriya worked as a consultant at one of the "Big Four", in the implementation of comprehensive compliance management systems. Furthermore, she worked for several years in the market intelligence department of a DAX 40 company.
