His clients include global online platforms and online retailers. He has extensive expertise in competition law and regularly advises on the Digital Services Act (DSA), the Digital Markets Act (DMA) and the P2B Regulation.
Already during his studies in Hamburg, Singapore and Paris, Phillipp concentrated on business law. Afterwards he worked as a research assistant at the chair for business & corporate law of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Karsten Schmidt at the Bucerius Law School.
During his legal clerkship, he was assigned for six months to the Chamber for Commercial Matters at the Hamburg Regional Court, which is responsible for competition law. He also worked as a trainee lawyer in our Hamburg competition, trademark and copyright practice.
Phillipp has been involved in voluntary work since his youth, for example with the State Sports Association for Youths of North Rhine-Westphalia, the project "Generation Future" of the St. Michaelis Church in Hamburg and the free legal advice service of the St. Pauli Church. From 2014 to 2019, he was a member of the budget committee of the Hamburg-Nord district assembly.
