Hogan Lovells 2024 Election Impact and Congressional Outlook Report
The prestigious list from leading UK legal publication, The Lawyer, celebrates the most innovative and creative lawyers in the UK from private practice, in-house, and the Bar.
Promoted to partner in Hogan Lovells Intellectual Property, Media & Technology (IPMT) practice in January 2023, Stella has been recognised by The Lawyer for her work advising on patent litigation relating to drugs for anaemia, rare earth catalysts and wind turbines. Stella works predominantly on complex multi-jurisdictional patent litigation with a focus on medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology patents. As a qualified, practicing doctor alongside her legal career, her knowledge in the field of medicine provides particularly valuable insights in life sciences patent litigation.
The Lawyer commented: “Wong has leveraged her background in medicine to work with a mosaic of clients, experts and clinicians in hospitals on complicated life sciences disputes and is currently in the midst of working on two global patent cases with huge stakes. Wong is also a champion of people with disabilities, being deaf in one ear herself, and has been working with Breaking Barriers — a networking platform for professional women established by Hogan Lovells for female lawyers at the firm.”
Stella commented: “It’s great to be recognised and humbling to be featured in this celebrated list. What a great start to the year!”
Stella is currently preparing for patent litigation in relation to two blockbuster drugs in the biotechnology field.
