Jessica acts for a number of institutional landlords and developers and has gained extensive experience in all aspects of landlord and tenant work. As a result she has a valuable understanding of the commercial drivers behind acquiring and managing property for investment purposes. Jessica also acts for corporate occupiers and understands the commercial pressures in securing appropriate space in an increasingly competitive market. Her experience in acting on both sides of the table in landlord and tenant matters gives her key insight into the commercial priorities for both parties.
Jessica has also dealt with a number of leasehold liability transactions over the years with various corporate occupiers, taking the lead on negotiation, structuring and legal project management.
Jessica adopts a very pragmatic and hands on approach to transactions, with a focus on getting the deal done as quickly, efficiently and amicably as possible.
Acting for CCLA on a broad range of asset management and investments matters relating to its UK portfolios for COIF Charities Property Fund and The Local Authorities’ Mutual Investment Trust.
Acting for a number of pension funds (including Mars and Coal) on a broad range of management matters for its investment portfolio, as well as advising on portfolio sales and acquisitions.
Acting for several high profile corporate occupiers on their UK leasehold requirements and disposal of challenging assets by way of leasehold liability transactions.
Advising on the planning aspects of the King's Cross Central redevelopment project, comprising over 7 million square feet of mixed use development.
Advising M&G on the planning and real estate aspects of its redevelopment of London Fruit and Wool Exchange.
Conducting an extensive title review for London Legacy Development Corporation concerning the proposed major employment-led redevelopment at Hackney Wick.
