Representative experience

Securing planning permission for the redevelopment of Bishopsgate Goodsyard, a new destination in London comprising 500 homes, 130,000 sq m of offices and affordable workspace, 1,600 sq m of retail, a hotel, cultural space and a new elevated park.

Advising Related Argent on the Brent Cross Town regeneration project, including land use planning.  The scheme includes a new Thameslink station, almost 7,000 residential units, up to 4 million square feet of office space, 3 schools and public park and spaces.

Advising Berkeley Homes on its land use planning strategy and s106 agreements for linked planning permissions at West End Gate and the former Paddington Green Police Station, for the single largest housing redevelopment in Westminster including 1,500 market affordable and senior living homes.

Advising London Legacy Development Corporation on the redevelopment of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, in particular securing consent for East Bank in the Olympic Park, including a new UCL campus and facilities for the BBC, V&A, Sadlers Wells and the London College of Fashion.

Assistance to the consortium awarded with the development of a mixed-use retail and industrial planning sector in Dos Hermanas (Sevilla), including 3 million sqm.

Assistance to the urban planning management company in charge of Valdebebas urban sector in Madrid.

Advice to a logistics investor in the urban land use planning aspects of the land development for new logistics warehouses in Madrid, Cataluña and Valencia.

Advice to the lenders on the urban land use planning aspects of a 5 stars luxury hotel renovation in Madrid city and a 5 stars new hotel in Sevilla.

Advice to hotel operators in the urban land use planning, licensing and construction contracts for 2 new hotels in Barcelona (200 rooms and 300 rooms each).

Advising a major international e-commerce group in connection with (i) the drafting of amendments to planning regulations applicable to logistics warehouses (picking towers) and various issues relating to compliance with environmental and planning regulations.
