Brian has been a registered professional engineer since 1996. His background as an electrical engineer allows him to bring a rare perspective to the table with insight and experience to assist clients in solving commercial, technical, and legal challenges in order to successfully achieve their goals – whether it is an M&A transaction involving an international portfolio of assets, structuring new and innovative joint ventures, investments in new technologies, or the development and financing of energy projects in emerging markets.

Before joining Hogan Lovells, Brian spent 10 years in the electric utility industry holding a variety of positions, including Director of System and Reliability Planning and Director of Contract Administration for BGE.

Representing clients in the financing of over US$3bn of renewable energy projects.
