Maximilian also helps his clients when it comes to the question of whether a certain contract is insolvency-proof or how insolvency related risks might be mitigated in particular with respect to claw-back rules but also regarding potential liability risks. Maximilian advises clients on the enforcement of claims and the realisation of collateral in insolvency proceedings. He also acts for insolvency administrators with regard to the assertion of claw-back claims and damage claims against the former management of the insolvent entity.
Maximilian studied law at the LMU in Munich. During his legal traineeship (Rechtsreferendariat) he worked, inter alia, with the regional court of Munich and a litigation boutique law firm in Toronto, Canada. Maximilian earned his Ph.D. in law with a thesis on the parliamentary control of the intelligence services in Germany at the Europe University "Viadrina" in Frankfurt (Oder).
