Jan's professional experience includes advising on tax matters regarding VAT, corporate income tax, and the tax on civil law transactions, as well as implementing tax efficient structures for international entities. Jan has a depth of knowledge and understanding of the private equity sector, advising on tax issues related to transactions in the real estate and capital markets.

He started working at Hogan Lovells in September 2014. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Jan worked for several Polish and international law firms located in Kraków and Warsaw. Since working in the Tax Department, Jan has worked on numerous projects aimed at implementing efficient tax planning for entities operating under both domestic and foreign tax systems. Jan also advises on corporate and commercial law, and commercial arbitration. He has successfully taken part in tax-related competitions and moot courts on commercial arbitration.
