Debra Sapp focuses her practice on the negotiation of commercial leases and subleases on behalf of both landlords and tenants for office, retail, and warehouse spaces.

Debra has extensive experience in the retail leasing sector, working closely with a wide range of clients on their nationwide portfolios, from high fashion tenants to banks and restaurants. She worked in the real estate group of several large New York City firms before she joined Hogan Lovells, and her varied real estate experience includes commercial dispositions and acquisitions, joint venture work, and commercial loan transactions.

Debra is the recipient of the 2022 Cornerstone Award from Lawyers Alliance for New York, recognizing her extraordinary contributions in pro bono legal services.
