Aida has acted as counsel and tribunal secretary in several cases in venues across Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East, administered by the main arbitral institutions (ICC, PCA, ICSID, SCC, CAM, among others).
She has particular experience in commercial and investor-State arbitration, related to the regulation of foreign investments, particularly in the energy (oil & gas and natural resources), engineering and infrastructure sectors.
Aida also maintains an active pro bono practice and has recently participated in a project for a State, on the legal risks under International Investment Agreements arising from the implementation of the Global Minimum Tax.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Aida practiced at leading firms in London, where she focused on investor-State international arbitrations.
