HL Tech and Tel: semiconductor policy

For the latest installment of our HL Tech and Tel Tuesday series our Tech and Telecoms Sector Group Lead, Mark Brennan, interviews two of our strategic lawyers – Tim Bergreen and Ryan Thompson – on the latest developments with the CHIPS Act and other semiconductor policy.

“The bill creates a US$1.5bn public wireless supply chain innovation fund… that is intended to spur movement toward open-architecture, software-based technologies, and funding innovative leap-ahead technologies in the U.S. mobile broadband market,” notes Tim.
