No company can afford to turn a blind eye to this: ESG – these letters stand for three sustainability-related areas concerning corporate social responsibility. Each of these areas is closely linked to labor law issues. The "E" for Environment refers to corporate environmental protection and includes, among other things, the promotion of e-mobility. The "S" for Social includes aspects such as diversity, inclusion, occupational health and safety. "G" for governance refers to sustainable corporate management, taking into account the issue of compliance. Our German employment law team has prepared a summary for you of the employment law requirements that need to be considered in connection with ESG-compliant corporate governance.

This employment law guide highlights a variety of ESG topics that you as a company in Germany or with German subsidiaries should keep in mind from an employment law perspective.
