Hogan Lovells 2024 Election Impact and Congressional Outlook Report
In this latest episode of The Influencers, our podcast conversations with thought leaders from business, academia and regulators on all aspects of digital transformation and law, we speak with Professor Mary-Rose McGuire about an interdisciplinary approach to AI and its implications for the legislative process and the law.
Mary-Rose McGuire is an ordinary professor at the University of Osnabrück, Germany, where she holds the chair in civil law, intellectual property and civil procedure law. Her main fields of research are all areas of technology and intellectual property law, in particular licence contracts, trade secret protection and (cross-border) infringement litigation, with a special focus on European harmonisation of technology laws. She is also a strong contributor to the AI Campus that is currently established in Osnabrück under the guidance of the Institute for Cognitive Science.
Mary-Rose McGuire, an academic leader on the intersection of IP and technology, and Hogan Lovells host Leopold von Gerlach explore the necessity and opportunities of an interdisciplinary approach to AI, and what that means for the law.
