Sydnie Pennington focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and other corporate transactional matters. She began her Hogan Lovells career as a summer associate in 2021. Sydnie provides practical, clear advice to clients in the healthcare, technology and sports and entertainment sectors.
Sydnie has experience drafting definitive transaction agreements and advising companies at different stages of the corporate life cycle on venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance.
Sydnie is passionate about community and fostering diversity in the legal industry. While in law school, Sydnie served on the board of Women's Law Caucus, where she partnered with organizations around St. Louis that advocated for and supported women. Prior to attending law school, Sydnie worked in the public sector advocating for victims of violent crimes.
Sydnie graduated summa cum laude from Duquesne University with a degree in Political Science. At Duquesne, Sydnie was Division I Rower and a member of the A-10 All-Academic Team.
