Lauren counsels clients on “cradle-to-grave” government contracts matters at the federal, state, and local levels, with a focus on navigating regulatory compliance in the areas of cybersecurity, intellectual property, supply chain, and small business. She also routinely represents clients in high-stakes bid protests, contract claims and disputes, and False Claims Act investigations as well as government contract-related mergers and acquisitions.
Additionally, Lauren maintains an active national security practice and advises clients on complex matters related to industrial security compliance, breach response and insider threat investigations. She regularly helps companies obtain and maintain facility security clearances while navigating foreign ownership, control or influence (FOCI) risks. Lauren also possesses significant experience representing clients in complex transactions subject to review by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Lauren worked in the Government Contracts practice of another Washington, D.C. law firm. Lauren also worked as a government contractor providing management and technology consulting solutions to the U.S. Department of Defense. She leverages this industry experience to develop innovative and cost-effective approaches for clients navigating the complex government procurement landscape.
While in law school, Lauren served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Public Contract Law Journal and received the Patricia A. Tobin Government Procurement Law Award for excellence in government contracting scholarship.
