Katie Wellington, a partner in our Litigation, Arbitration, and Employment practice, was recognized in the Appellate category. She has played a pivotal role in some of the most consequential cases in the country, most notably representing Common Cause in the Supreme Court case Moore v. Harper. In this seminal election law case, Katie championed the core principles of democracy – the ability of the people of each state to dictate through their state constitutions how elections would be run – and ultimately won the case.
