Hogan Lovells represents Ukraine in case to preserve assets seized from Russian Bank Prominvestbank for Ukraine's defense

The U.S. Justice Department has sided with Ukraine in its brief to the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, stating that US$42.5 million in disputed assets claimed by terrorism victims belong to Ukraine, not Russia, and are therefore not subject to claims under the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act. Partner Dennis Tracey and senior associates Peter Bautz and Matthew Ducharme are representing Ukraine in this case.
