Laura Asbati has over 15 years of experience in the full range of structured finance, securitisation and capital markets transactions, both in France and internationally. She particularly advises French and international financial institutions, asset managers and corporates on the structuring and implementation of securitisations and other receivables financing transactions, covering all asset classes and all industry sectors (automotive, banking, shipping, logistics, industrial and professional equipment, real estate and construction).
She regularly acts on high-profile transactions, such as, in 2021, one of the largest multi-jurisdictional trade receivables securitisations in the market, as well as the first public equipment leasing securitisation with a full capital structure placement.
With Laura's appointment, the capital markets team in Paris, headed by Vincent Fidelle, now comprises 11 lawyers including 4 partners (Sharon Lewis, Katia Merlini, Laura Asbati and Vincent Fidelle).
Astrid Zourli has developed a recognized expertise in national and cross-border insolvency proceedings, in debt and equity restructuring and in distressed M&A. She is also involved in takeovers, restructuring of industrial sites, as well as litigation aspects of insolvency proceedings.
She is active in all industry sectors, such as retail, maritime and road transportation, the paper and glass industries, the health sector, automotive and industrial subcontracting and the energy sector. In recent years, she has been involved in a number of high-profile matters, such as Bourbon, Arc, Technicolor, Mavic and Remade.
With Astrid's appointment, the Restructuring team in Paris headed by Philippe Druon now comprises 8 lawyers including three partners (Cécile Dupoux, Astrid Zourli and Philippe Druon).
