Hogan Lovells 2024 Election Impact and Congressional Outlook Report
Dr. David Huthmacher, previously Kirkland & Ellis, will join the firm in the next few months alongside Dr. Jan Philipp Feigen and Dr. Maximilian Menges who come from Ernst & Young Law. All three partners will become part of the firm’s Private Equity and Funds practice area and will be based in the Munich and Hamburg offices respectively.

The three partners advise international and national clients on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, management incentive programs and general corporate law matters with a focus on advising on private equity transactions. Jan and Maximilian have a wealth of experience in advising leading private equity funds, with a particular emphasis on platform acquisitions, add-ons, and portfolio work. They also advise corporate venture transactions.
David has developed a broad practice, focusing mainly on advising private equity fund clients on national and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. In addition to this, David also has experience advising on public takeovers and growth equity.

These appointments follow a series of recent strategic hires in the Private capital sector in London [James Cross, Sam Norris and Nick Cusack] and M&A practice in Germany [Dr. Mesut Korkmaz].
