Hogan Lovells 2024 Election Impact and Congressional Outlook Report
The firm ranked among law firms to receive a score of 100 in the latest edition of the Human Rights Campaign’s annual corporate accountability report.
The Human Rights Campaign, a leading LGBTQ+ advocacy organization in the United States, and its Corporate Equality Index is the national benchmarking tool on corporate policies, practices, and benefits supporting LGBTQ+ employees.
Ratings are based on performance in three areas: widely applied nondiscrimination policies, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ employees and their families, and supporting an inclusive culture and corporate social responsibility.
Commenting on the score, Hogan Lovells’ One Americas Professional Development and Diversity Partner, Carine Stoick, said: “We are proud to earn a perfect rating on HRC’s index and remain ambitious in fostering a culture of inclusivity where the rich diversity of all our people is fully recognized and celebrated. This honor reflects our commitment to diversity and inclusion as a strategic priority and we look forward to continuing to advance practices and policies that empower all of our people to succeed.”
Since 2019, the firm has been a signatory to the HRC’s Business Coalition for the Equality Act. The coalition is a group of more than 500 leading U.S. employers that support the Equality Act, federal legislation that would provide the same basic protections to LGBTQ+ individuals as are provided to other protected groups under federal law.
Hogan Lovells has consistently been a staunch supporter of LGBTQ+ rights and equality. In the last year, the firm has introduced a global goal for LGBTQ+ partners*, which the firm will work diligently to achieve by 2025. The firm has been named one of Stonewall's Top Global Employers 2020, one of only 17 organizations around the world to achieve this honor, while our Pride+ Network, a global program of existing internal LGBTQ+ networks aimed at promoting inclusion across our global offices, has grown since its launch in 2017 to more than 1300 members. The firm’s bi-annual Allverse conference also brings together hundreds of minority and LGBTQ+ lawyers and clients for networking, profile raising, education and planning.
