Rupa brings a deep understanding of counselling public companies and their boards on complex securities and corporate law matters, including SEC disclosure and compliance, corporate governance, and strategic corporate relationships. She represents clients in the full range of capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings and follow-on equity offerings, de-SPAC transactions, public and private high-yield, investment-grade and convertible debt offerings, and private placements of equity and convertible securities. Her experience ranges across multiple sectors, including technology, life sciences, insurance, and consumer products.

Briggs earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School where she was a James Kent Scholar and member of the Columbia Law Review. She earned her A.B. from Princeton University, magna cum laude.
