Hogan Lovells awarded Mansfield Certification Plus in the U.S. and UK
Washington D.C., London, 2 October 2024 - Global law firm Hogan Lovells has again achieved Mansfield Certification Plus in both the U.S. and UK for 2023-24 in recognition of its extensive work on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). This is the sixth consecutive year the firm has been awarded this status in the U.S., and the third since its introduction in the UK in 2021.
Mansfield Certification Plus, established by Diversity Lab, aims to ensure fair and equal opportunity for all lawyers to advance into leadership. Mansfield aims to broaden the pool of women lawyers, LGBTQ+ lawyers, lawyers with disabilities, and lawyers from underrepresented racial or ethnic backgrounds who are considered for senior lateral lawyer job openings, firm governance opportunities, equity partner promotions, and firm leadership positions.
To receive Mansfield Certification Plus, the firm submitted measurement, transparency, and accountability mechanisms and metrics demonstrating how it increases clarity and transparency around opportunities, helping to create a level playing field for all. The Certification Plus indicates that, in addition to meeting or exceeding the baseline requirements, the firm has successfully achieved at least 30% underrepresented lawyer representation in current leadership roles.
