Michael is a Private Equity partner who joined the firm in July 2014 , whose practice focuses on complex corporate and transactional matters. He primarily represents private capital sponsors, including private equity and pension fund sponsors and their portfolio companies, in connection with leveraged acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, minority investments, financings, restructurings, and general corporate matters.
Michael advises on both international and domestic transactions, and frequently counsels on a variety of securities law, corporate governance, and strategic matters. His industry experience includes financial services, life sciences, fashion and branding, retail and diversified industrials.
Regarding the appointment, Michael said: “I am honored and excited to take over the leadership of our Private Capital sector and to have the opportunity to continue to build our practice and reputation in this area. Private Capital is a sector that often finds itself subject to complex regulation and our strength in regulatory matters continues to be a clear differentiator for us in the market.”
