Hogan Lovells advises The International Cricket Council in planning historic T20 World Cup; matches now underway across the U.S. and Caribbean

As the global governing body for cricket, the ICC governs and administers the game and works with its members to grow visibility and popularity of the sport across the globe. The ICC is also responsible for the staging of all of its events.

Matches are currently being played in New York, Texas, and Florida and across six islands in the West Indies through the end of June. The T20 World Cup marks a historic moment for the sport as it’s the first time the U.S. has ever hosted an ICC World Cup event.

Hogan Lovells also advised USA Cricket in winning the rights to co-host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
