Hogan Lovells advises Gerresheimer on its approx. €800 million acquisition of Blitz LuxCo Sarl

Milan, 17 December 2024 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Gerresheimer, an innovative systems and solutions provider and global partner for the pharma, biotech and cosmetics industries, on the acquisition of Blitz LuxCo Sarl, the holding company of the Bormioli Pharma Group. The acquisition is value is approx. €800 million and it has been completed on 10 December 2024.
Gerresheimer and Bormioli Pharma share a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability. Both companies have implemented structured innovation processes aimed at developing user-friendly systems while pursuing ambitious sustainability goals.
Hogan Lovells assisted Gerresheimer with a cross-border and multidisciplinary team led by partners Franz-Josef Schoene (Düsseldorf) and Luca Picone (Milan), and composed for the corporate aspects by counsels Tobias Boeckmann (Düsseldorf) and Benoit Serraf (Luxemburg), senior associates Francesco De Michele (Milan) and Kim Tang (Luxemburg), associate Eva Campione (Milan) and trainee Piermaurizio Francesconi (Milan).
