Hogan Lovells advises Ambienta in its project to acquire HolwegWeber from Motion Equity Partners

Ambienta is one of Europe's largest asset managers, entirely focused on environmental sustainability and investing in particular in private and public companies driven by the environmental megatrend.

HolwegWeber is a leading operator in the production and maintenance of equipment solutions for paper-based packaging manufacturing.

The contemplated acquisition will enable Ambienta to combine HolwegWeber with In.Pack Machinery, a leading firm in the bio-compostable and recycled polymers machinery in which Ambienta invested in 2019/2020. The transaction shall triple the size of In.Pack Machinery and create a unique player in the market in terms of product range, size, production footprint, and commercial reach, with over €130ml revenues, 7 production sites in 3 continents, 400 employees, and 9,000 installed machines.
