With over 25 years' experience helping clients resolve their most difficult disputes, Neil has a commercial, hands-on approach to his cases and always thinks strategically about how best to bring a case to a successful conclusion. He gets as much satisfaction from helping clients prevent disputes arising and is often asked to advise on pre-action issues. Neil handles a wide range of financial services disputes as well as corporate and commercial disputes, often involving multiple parties and across jurisdictions.
He has worked on a broad range of City-related problems, including M&A disputes, joint venture disputes, warranty claims, financial market problems, regulatory investigations and disciplinary proceedings. He also has substantial experience of ADR processes, and coordinates the use of ADR in our London office. Neil champions the use of technology in large-scale litigation, and is a noted commentator and writer on electronic disclosure issues. Chambers has described Neil as 'truly commercial' with a commitment to 'finding solutions even in the most adverse circumstances'.
