Hogan Lovells International LLP has compulsory insurance provided by Travelers Insurance Company Limited of Exchequer Court, 33 St Mary Axe, London EC3A 8AG, policy reference B080111568P12. The territorial cover is worldwide and extends to its affiliates (although this is not compulsory). There are also local policies in place where this is necessary to comply with local rules.
In Germany, the insurer is AXA Versicherung AG, Colonia Allee 10-20, 51067 Köln, Policy no: HA20-2019-0822.
In France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Poland, the insurance is provided through schemes operated by the local Bars and, as in Germany, the insurance covers the lawyers registered with the relevant Bars, wherever they may practise.
In France, the relevant Bar is the Paris Bar. The insurer is Zurich Insurance plc, 112 avenue de Wagram, 75808 Paris, Cedex 17.
In Belgium, the relevant Bar is the Brussels Bar. For the French speaking Bar, the Insurer is ETHIAS, Droit Commun No 165 of Rue des Crosiers 24, 4000 Liège and, for the Dutch speaking Bar, the insurer is Vanbreda Risk & Benefits, Plantin en Moretuslei 297, 2140 Antwerp.
In Luxembourg, the relevant bar is the Luxembourg Bar (Barreau de Luxembourg). The insurers are Bâloise Assurances, 23 Rue du Puits Romain, L-8070 Bertrange and MS Amlin, 9 bd Albert 2, B-10210 Brussels. The insurance covers lawyers registered with the Luxembourg Bar, wherever they may practice Luxembourg law.
In Poland, the Bar for advocates is Naczelna Rada Adwokacka. The insurer is HDI Gerling of ul. Swietojerska 16, 00-202 Warszawa. The Bar for legal advisers is Krajowa Izba Radców Prawnych. The insurer is PZU SA of Aleje Ujazdowskie 18 lok.4, 00-478 Warszawa.
