Emma Kotfica helps clients navigate the complex privacy and cybersecurity legal landscape. Emma supports clients on a broad range of issues, including global investigations, client counseling on compliance with privacy and security laws, breach responses, and privacy considerations within transactional matters.

Before law school, Emma worked for a prominent global business advisory company assisting clients with nuanced financial data and analytics issues. Emma graduated from Duke University School of Law, where she served as Vice President of Membership for the Business Law Society and as Online Editor for Law and Contemporary Problems. During law school, Emma worked with the Duke Center on Law and Tech to launch its Responsible AI in Legal Services initiative.
