He has advised numerous national and international clients, in particular private equity and infra funds, on takeovers, acquisitions, auction procedures, disposals, carve-outs, mergers, restructurings and other corporate law issues, including management incentive programs, shareholder agreements and guarantee and indemnity insurance, in particular regarding life science / health care, infrastructure, TMT, real estate and automotive. He regularly lectures and publishes on these topics.
Jörg is a partner and notary at the Frankfurt office, head of our German Private Equity & Funds practice, as well as a local personnel partner and coordinator of the Hogan Lovells "China Desk".
He studied law at the Universities of Passau and Nottingham and holds a Master of European Law from the University of Nottingham and a Dr. jur. from the University of Passau.
During secondments, Jörg has worked in the New York office of an international law firm and in the legal department of a listed real estate company in Berlin. He is also a member of the German Corporate Law Association.
