Maïmouna Goudiaby focuses her practice on commercial law, contract drafting and negotiation, and on consumer and e-commerce law. Maïmouna assists clients in industries as diverse as life sciences, IT, cloud computing, insurance, financial institutions and e-commerce.

Maïmouna has in-house counsel experience.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Maïmouna worked for nine years for an industrial company specialized in the manufacture, sale and services of various products for the aerospace, oil & gas, domotic and automotive industries. She held different legal positions in France, Czech Republic and in the Middle East in which she notably gained experience in contract drafting and negotiations, including in complex contracts.

Recently, she was seconded for few months to the French subsidiary of a U.S.-based pharmaceutical company and to the French subsidiary of a US-based medical device manufacturing company.

Representative experience

Drafting and negotiation of contracts for facilities management services, the supply of equipment and security and logistics services for the warehouses of a major e-commerce platform. 
Drafting and negotiation of an energy distribution services agreement for the implementation and promotion of a smart grid for the distribution of domestic solar energy systems in Africa.

Drafting of a consortium agreement to facilitate research and development and participation in projects in the field of ferments and fermented and/or bio-preserved products.

Advice and contractual assistance to a major e-commerce platform on its participation in an artificial intelligence research consortium and the implementation of the corresponding platform.
Drafting and negotiation of partnership agreements for the integration of 2 applications offering e-scooter rental and e-scooter sharing services.
Advising a bank on the implementation of a SaaS contract for the use of electronic signatures in its group.
Advising a bank, in particular on contractual matters and personal data protection, for the projects of one of its incubators.
Drafting and negotiation of a cloud contract for the management of clinical study contracts for a medical device manufacturer.
Advising a bank on its compliance with Article 28 of the GDPR and negotiating of data processing agreements with some of its IT service providers.
Advice and assistance to a company specialized in payment softwares for the negotiation of one of its software distribution agreements.
