Alyssa Golay

Alyssa advises clients on legal, regulatory, compliance, and policy matters on a global scale, primarily involving cutting-edge technology and sensitive information, including artificial intelligence, digital health, genomic research, and biometric data. 

Her practice spans investigations, product counseling, advocacy, and transactional matters allowing her to provide clients with strategic advice whether they are responding to a regulatory inquiry or incident, developing new products and services, establishing a privacy program, or improving existing operations to comply with a dynamic legal landscape. 

Before rejoining the firm, Alyssa was Privacy Counsel at Apple, where she counseled teams across the company's business units and corporate operations, including hardware, software, and retail, led privacy legal aspects of the company’s global data governance program, and played a key role in the development of their compliance strategy for wearable devices, research, and health-related offerings. She brings with her a depth of experience advising on consumer-facing activities and internal initiatives related to accessibility, employee privacy, wellness, product development and improvement, research, and environmental health and safety operations.
