The much awaited Final Report on the draft Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) for the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) has been published by the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs).
While the 10 March 2021 deadline for implementation of the Level 1 SFDR measures were creeping closer, financial market participants (FMPs) should have also start turning their minds to the requirements of the RTS, with a view developing their action plans in time for compliance by the proposed 1 January 2022 implementation date. In order to do that, it will be crucial that FMPs understand the requirements of the RTS, and in particular, the changes made by the ESAs in light of feedback received during the 2020 consultation process.
In this webinar we looked at the RTS requirements including principal adverse impact reporting, product level pre-contractual and periodic disclosures, website disclosures, alongside practical considerations for complying with the RTS and any jurisdiction-specific pronouncements related to this topic.
