Our lawyers discussed strategic and cost-effective approaches to seeking and defending against injunctions, in the context of patent-related disputes. They presented a comparative analysis of the latest developments, including when injunctions are available, the criteria for obtaining one, and what countermeasures are typically available to avoid an injunction such as compulsory licenses and FRAND defences. They also explained what other remedies are generally available in patent infringement proceedings. Our speakers shared their recent experiences to highlight key issues and suggest practical approaches to risk management and effective preparation.
