ACIC Spring Investment Forum

On 27-28 April 2023, the American College of Investment Counsel (ACIC) hosted the ACIC Spring Investment Forum in Chicago, IL. The program featured informative panel discussions and provided important market updates on topics relevant to institutional investment practices.

The conference featured a three-panel series focusing on a hypothetical issuer that is facing financial distress. Panel one focused on covenant amendments, panel two on a workout where a Chapter 11 filing was possible, and the final panel on extreme considerations for lenders deciding to take ownership of a company through bankruptcy.

Moderators for each panel included Jimmy Moore from New York Life Insurance Company, Kate Lindsay from MetLife, and Julia Frost-Davies from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.
