Blair is an advocate in the courtroom and a trusted advisor to her clients. Her practice includes representing survivors of domestic violence with seeking civil protection orders and child custody. She also represents victims of gender-based violence in criminal proceedings, asserting their rights under DC and Federal law. Finally, she represents vulnerable children as their court-appointed guardian ad litem in custody cases. Blair supervises dozens of associates each year on these cases and provides mentoring and training to associates who rotate in the Department. Blair is also responsible for overseeing the onboarding of all new matters in the U.S. Pro Bono Department.

Blair has received numerous awards for her work, including DC Volunteer Lawyers Project (DCVLP) Volunteer of the Year, the Network for Victim Recovery of DC (NVRDC) Firm Voice Award, and Idealist of the Year. Blair served on NVRDC’s board of directors and is on the DCVLP Junior Board.
