Christine studied law at the universities of Passau and Berkeley. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Passau with a thesis on the liability of managers in corporate insolvencies. She also obtained a master's degree from the University of California, Berkeley with focus on business law. Before qualifying as a lawyer in 2020, Christine completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich. During this time, she worked for a US law firm and a major German law firm in Munich.
