Ted’s transactional practice includes advising on all phases of development, leasing, and sales transactions for a broad range of sectors, including hotels and resorts, healthcare and senior living facilities, entertainment venues, and office and industrial buildings. He counsels developers, REITs, lenders, private equity funds, and others in the negotiation of strategic joint ventures and real estate financings, often involving mezzanine debt or preferred equity. Ted also regularly advises clients on the real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
Ted maintains an active pro bono practice within the firm. He also serves on the board of a private family foundation which provides grants to operating non-profits in Colorado and across the country.
