Beatrice Wilden advises national and international clients on all aspects of patent law. Her focus is on advising clients in patent infringement and validity proceedings, in particular with regard to the pharmaceutical and chemical industries as well as to the field of mechanics.
Beatrice studied law at the University of Bonn. During her studies, she spent an academic year abroad at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom, where she also took courses on Copyright, Patents and Allied Rights. After passing her First State Exam in law, she gathered practical work experience, working as a research assistant at a German major law firm in London, United Kingdom. Beatrice then completed her legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne. As part of her traineeship, she also worked at the patent group at our Dusseldorf office. She further spent a part of her traineeship working for a lawyer at the German Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe who also focusses on patent litigation.
