Mariana Avila has been concerned about the future of society and climate change for several years. Currently, ESG (environmental, social and governance) issues are a global trend. For this reason she decided to study a master's degree in Europe on corporate social responsibility at the EAE business school in Madrid.
During her time in Madrid, she did an internship in a multinational French company in the food distribution sector, which made her realize that nowadays companies are committed to ESG issues and they are already part of the relevant issues within the board of directors.
Previously, she worked for different law firms in Mexico, which are mainly specialized in civil litigation, commercial litigation, and arbitration
