Successfully represented largest marketer of recycled coal ash in parallel rulemaking and legislative efforts to have EPA regulate disposed coal ash as a nonhazardous waste.

Prepared comments on EPA’s hazardous waste generator and pharmaceutical waste rules for multiple retail clients and 11 industrial trade associations.

Drafted and advocated for amendments to California’s hazardous waste laws adopted by the California legislature that promote reverse distribution of consumer products.

On behalf of a California public agency, secured congressional authorization for federal loans and loan guarantees for the acquisition of essential wildlife habitat.
