Carlos is a junior associate in Hogan Lovells' Real Estate area in Madrid. With extensive knowledge of the issues surrounding real estate transactions, he focuses on developing and implementing the most practical and efficient strategy for each transaction. His background in legal English, together with his experience and knowledge of Spanish law, provides him with a perfect combination for national and international clients who intend to invest in the real estate sector in Spain, in transactions involving the acquisition and development of logistics, hospitality, commercial and residential assets. He has also advised on the purchase and sale of NPL and REO portfolios.
Carlos has also been involved in several land acquisitions, advising clients in the urban development process, as well as in wind and photovoltaic plant acquisitions through the acquisition of SPVs.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Carlos developed his legal career at another major multinational law firm.
