Senior associate Jessie Xie named by Asian Legal Business as one of China’s top 15 rising lawyers

Jessie Xie, a senior associate in our Beijing office, has been selected by Asian Legal Business as one of China’s top 15 rising lawyers. The award features lawyers who are under 40 and who are excellent practitioners in their respective areas of law. 


Jessie has been with Hogan Lovells since 2008. She presents unique insights on complex regulatory issues for clients in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. Her clients include multinational medical device and pharmaceutical companies. She is well-versed in matters relating to privacy, data protection, encryption, and commercial franchising practices, which are rapidly changing and highly regulated in China.

In the past year, Jessie has successfully advised on several hospital cooperation projects in China. She is involved in China’s second-biggest telecommunications equipment supplier's export control and U.S. sanction case with the U.S. government.
