'Runs an excellent team and stays personally involved.' Legal 500 2015
David Hudd is Deputy CEO of Hogan Lovells. He is a capital markets lawyer and has worked on a huge range of deals since the inception of the European structured finance market over 30 years ago.
After working at another City firm and spending over nine years in investment banking, David joined Hogan Lovells as its first dedicated capital markets partner in London in 1994 to establish the firm's structured finance practice. Before his appointment as Deputy CEO in July 2014, David led the firm's global finance practice.
David has been consistently ranked as a market-leading lawyer for over 20 years. Chambers, which rates David as an eminent practitioner for both securitisation and structured finance & derivatives, reports that one client says: "He is remarkably involved and hands-on. He ensures the overall level of service is very good and is always enthusiastic."
