The 2017 Luxembourg Tax Reform: What's Important?

On 14 December, the Luxembourg Parliament (Chambre des Députés) adopted the draft law implementing the Luxembourg tax reform announced in February 2016 (the Tax Reform).

The Tax Reform has been elaborated according to the objectives set out by the Government early this year, and aims at addressing four key areas: fairness, selectivity, sustainability and competitiveness.

Below you will find the most important aspects, from a Luxembourg tax perspective, as regards to corporate taxation and individual taxation as well as certain specific provisions regarding registration duties and the fight against tax fraud and money laundering.
