Hogan Lovells advises Kingdom Holding Company and the Rotana Group in their transaction with Deezer

Hogan Lovells advised Kingdom Holding Company and the Rotana Group on investment and long-term licensing arrangements with Deezer valued at 239 million euros (1 billion Saudi riyals).

Kingdom Holding Company and the Rotana Group are chaired by HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud of Saudi Arabia. 

Deezer has announced that it was valued at 1 billion euros for purposes of the investments. The transaction includes an exclusive long-term agreement for Deezer to distribute Rotana’s audio and video clips on the Deezer music streaming platform in Middle Eastern and North African regions.
