Hogan Lovells acts for The Crown Estate to complete major UK offshore wind farm lease deal

LONDON, 14 September 2018 - A cross practice team of Hogan Lovells Real Estate and Energy lawyers has acted for The Crown Estate on the lease completion of Triton Knoll, the circa 860MW offshore wind farm, which is being developed by Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm Limited off the Lincolnshire coast.

Hogan Lovells advised The Crown Estate on the grant of the lease to Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm Limited and the associated lease security package paving the way for an offshore wind development project with a planned investment of approximately £2 billion which will install 90 of the largest turbines to date.

The Hogan Lovells team was led by partners Nick Roberts (Real Estate) and Alex Harrison (Energy) and Senior Associate, Mohammed Alam.
