Accelerating the regulatory launch

18 October 20166:00 PM - 7:30 PM (GMT)

Through our strategic partnership with Innovate Finance, Hogan Lovells recognised that many FinTechs struggle with common regulatory issues and find engagement with regulatory materials challenging.

Following the launch of the Hogan Lovells Regulatory Accelerator to help FinTechs on their regulatory journey, we will be co-hosting an interactive session with Innovate Finance on how to effectively navigate regulatory requirements for FinTechs in the UK.

Discussion on regulatory barriers

We will explore experiences of engaging with the regulatory regime and the process of getting regulated. Speakers will include Tom Woolf, Founder and CEO of EdAid, Phoebe Hugh, Co-founder & CEO of Brolly, Simon Pearse Head of Compliance at Ratesetter and Dan Morgan, Head of Policy and Regulation at Innovate Finance.

Discussion on how to up-skill on regulatory issues

A discussion on getting up to speed on regulatory issues, with insights from Hogan Lovells and Adam French, Founder and Managing Partner of Scalable Capital.

Please register to attend and pose your questions to the speakers.

Regulatory Accelerator

On average, FinTechs surveyed by Innovate Finance estimated their cost of getting authorised at approximately £200,000, taking into account both internal resources and external advisers.

Hogan Lovells' Regulatory Accelerator should help make it easier, quicker and less expensive for FinTechs to get to market. Access the tool to see if we can help you up-skill.

Office Hours

Hogan Lovells will be offering complimentary office hours before this event. Whether you have questions about regulation, funding or international growth, Hogan Lovells lawyers will be available for informal one-on-one conversations. Contact us to request a slot.
